{"id":2311,"date":"2025-06-24T14:05:51","date_gmt":"2025-06-24T14:05:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/truth-talk.org\/wordpress\/?p=2311"},"modified":"2025-06-24T14:05:51","modified_gmt":"2025-06-24T14:05:51","slug":"freedom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/truth-talk.org\/wordpress\/index.php\/2025\/06\/24\/freedom\/","title":{"rendered":"Freedom"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>There is a lot of concern in this country and the world about freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I would ask, freedom from what?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Freedom from oppression or someone saying you can&#8217;t do what you want to do?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Or, heaven forbid, someone saying that it&#8217;s wrong to burn down a building or a car because you don&#8217;t get your way?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How about freedom from our own evil desires?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Real freedom comes from real truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Christ said that if we follow His teaching we are really His disciple,<br>then we will know the truth and the truth will set us free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So if we want real freedom, maybe we should seek real truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And, like it or not, the source of real truth is Christ and Christ alone.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There is a lot of concern in this country and the world about freedom.
