Acts (Letter 44, Larry Crabb’s 66 Love Letters)
Tell the People the Full Message of This New Life
- If Steven or Peter or Paul could see what so many of us modern Jesus followers are calling Christianity, if they visited what so often passes for church today, they might fall flat on their faces and weep.
- If the church today were treated the same as Ananias and Sapphira, the couple God killed, a whole lot of us would drop dead during what we call worship.
- We are right to notice that His power is no longer commonly revealed in obvious miracles.
- We are now free from slavery to the demands of self.
- We are free to tell people the full message of this new life in spite of life’s difficulties.
- We are now free to really live.

The Acts Of The Apostles: AN UNFINISHED STORY
As you read through this book, you see various aspects of the ministry of the Holy Spirit. First of all, he is visible in directing the activities of the church. It is the Spirit of God who takes the initiative and launches new movements in carrying out the program of God.
Spirit-led witnessing is:
- the right man
- in the right place
- at the right time
- saying the right thing
- to the right person!
Finally, the major emphasis of this book and the amazing thing about these Christians – the quality that made them a constant wonder to those who heard them preach – is that the Spirit of God is always at work imparting boldness to Christians.
It is not up to us to do anything except be available, to be God’s instruments, to go where He wills, to open our mouths, to be ready to
take advantage of whatever situation He places us in.
